Agreeing to these terms
These terms apply when you use this website or hire Ironwood Epoxy Flooring of Glendale for flooring or concrete work. By browsing the site, asking for an estimate or booking a job, you agree to them.
If a written estimate or contract we give you for your job says something different from this page, the written document for your job controls. If you don't agree with these terms, please don't use the site, and talk to us before you book any work.
What we do
We're a flooring contractor in Glendale, CA. We install epoxy, polyaspartic, metallic and urethane cement coatings, and we polish, stain, seal, grind, resurface and level concrete for homes and businesses in Glendale and the cities around it. The home page lists our services and the cities we serve.
Each service page describes the work in general terms so you know what to expect. Your floor's condition, size and use decide what your job actually needs, so the scope we agree to in writing for your job is what we're committing to, not the general descriptions on this site.
Estimates and pricing
Our estimates are free, done in person and come with no obligation. We look at your floor before we price it because cracks, old coatings, moisture in the slab and the amount of grinding needed all change the work and the cost.
An estimate is based on what we can see and measure that day. If we find something once the job is open that we couldn't see before, such as a coating underneath the top layer, damaged concrete or moisture coming up through the slab, we'll stop, explain it and agree on any change with you before we do extra work or charge for it.
Prices on any estimate are good for the period written on it. After that we may need to update them, because material costs change.
Scheduling, weather and cancellation
We give you a start date and an expected timeline when you book. Coatings and concrete products need certain temperature and humidity ranges to cure properly, so we may move a date if conditions on the day would put the finish at risk. We'll tell you as early as we can.
Please make sure the area is cleared and we can get in on the scheduled day. If we arrive and can't start because the space isn't ready, we may need to reschedule.
If you need to cancel or move your job, call us at (747) 372-8604 as soon as you know. Any cancellation terms, including how a deposit is handled, are set out in your written estimate or contract.
Payment
Payment amounts, any deposit and due dates are written on your estimate or contract before work begins. Final payment is due when the work is complete, unless your written agreement says otherwise.
If a balance goes unpaid, we may use the collection and lien rights California law gives contractors. We'd always rather talk it through with you first.
Our guarantee and what it doesn't cover
Our work is backed by our satisfaction guarantee. If something isn't right with the work we did, call us and we'll come look at it and make it right where the problem comes from our workmanship.
The guarantee doesn't cover damage from things outside our control. That includes using the floor before it has cured for the time we tell you, dropped tools or heavy impacts, harsh chemicals, hot tires on coatings not built for them, ground movement, new cracks in the concrete below, moisture or conditions in the slab that weren't known at the time of the job, and normal wear.
Product makers set their own warranties on their materials, and those warranties come from the maker, not from us. Apart from our satisfaction guarantee and anything written into your contract, we don't make other promises about the work, and to the extent California law allows, we disclaim implied warranties.
Limits on our liability
We're licensed and insured, and we take responsibility for our own work. To the extent the law allows, Ironwood Epoxy Flooring of Glendale isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost business, lost use of a space or costs of temporary arrangements while a floor cures.
Where we are responsible, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the work involved. Nothing on this page limits any responsibility the law doesn't allow a business to limit.
Using this website
The information on this site is general and meant to help you understand flooring and concrete work. It isn't a promise of results for your floor, and it doesn't replace an in-person look at your job.
The text and photos on this site belong to us or are used with permission. Please don't copy them for commercial use without asking. Links to other websites are for your convenience, and we're not responsible for their content.
Resolving a disagreement
If you're unhappy with anything, call us first. Most problems get sorted out quickly once we're standing on the floor together and can see what's going on.
If we can't settle it that way, either of us may take it to a court with jurisdiction in Los Angeles County, California, unless your written contract sets out a different process.
Governing law
These terms, and any work we do for you, are governed by the laws of the State of California.
Changes to these terms
We may update this page from time to time. The version posted here when you book your job is the one that applies to that job, and continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Questions about these terms
You can read more about who we are on our About page. If you have a question about these terms or your job, call (747) 372-8604, any day from 7 AM to 10 PM, or reach us through our contact page. We respond within 1 business day.
