I grew up on my dad's flooring jobs, and I learned to prep and coat concrete working beside him before I ever ran a job of my own. His view was that floors fail from underneath, and I've never seen a reason to doubt it. I started Ironwood Epoxy Flooring of Glendale in 2023 to keep doing the work the careful way he taught me.
Most of our calls in Glendale come from homeowners with a garage, basement or patio that needs a proper floor, and from shop and restaurant owners whose work floor needs redoing. What I care about most is the part nobody sees once the floor's done. How we run a floor job
It starts with me at your house or business, looking at the concrete in person and writing the estimate. Once you go ahead, I lead the crew that does the work. We grind the slab, fix the cracks and low spots, and make sure it's ready before any coating, polish or overlay goes down. When the finish is on, we clean up and walk the floor with you.
Before work starts, we check with the city or county office that covers your address and tell you what we find, so you know where things stand. If the slab turns up something once it's open that we couldn't see at the estimate, we'll talk it through with you before going on.
